The presence of these tall trees in any location gives a feeling of warmth and beauty. The foliage being congregated at the top leaves the wood in clear view, with its attractive brownish hue, and an overall impression not unlike palm trees.

No idea what this is - cannot find any pictures online. Very low lying, evergreen plant with thick but easily cut roots above ground. Leaves are very lily-pad like.
