Clay base below 1ft heavy soil/Lancaster/United Kingdom

Unknown; Thick hollow stems, grows rapidly May-June (6ft+) Flowers July to black shinny seed pods late July-Aug. Acquired property 2 years ago have not been able to identify. Any advice or classification appreciated.

Reservoir banks/Madrid/Spain

Can anyone identify these plants? I found about 4 or 5 very simular species (two shown here) on the banks of a reservoir in Spain. Leaves succulent. Flower buds less than 1 mm closed and 1.5 - 2 mm open. 5 petals, 5 stamens.
